Modifications/Other/Extras:
Cut my bars down a tad, cut my axles flush, cut down seat post, put a piece of tire in my cranks so they don’t spin.
Which parts do you go through the most?
Grips, for sure.
Describe your bike setup and how you like your bike to feel…
Dialed. As long as nothing is loose, nothing makes noises when I drop it, and my brakes feel good there is nothing more I could ask for.
Do you remember your first “real” BMX bike?
Heck yeah it was a little 16” called ”Lil Lightening.” Then I got the 20” version called ”Big Thunder,” haha.
Explain the pieces of rubber between your sprocket and bottom bracket.
It creates friction so your cranks don’t spin when you take your feet off. It’s a great idea because you don’t have to run your cranks and chain so tight. So it prolongs the life of your sprocket, chain, and driver. You don’t have to over tighten everything for your cranks not to spin.
You’ve been popping up a lot of places this year—compare this year to last year as far as traveling and BMX goes.
A world of a difference. I can’t believe the year I’ve had. It’s amazing, I got to go to another country this year and stay on the road for months at a time, hang out with all of my best friends and just enjoy every minute of it. I’m so thankful for everything, I’d like to thank everyone who made this year possible for me. Ridaz!

im running the tire on my cranks too.
you just get a tire first. cut out a little like 3 inch by 3 inch piece off the tire. and you can use scissors, an excato knife (razor blade) or a drill, to cut a hole about the size of your spindle in the tire. then just stick it on. i put mine on my sprocket side like, before i put any washers or anything on.

instead of using a tire…
you could use a grip flange.
they work perfect for that.
and they already have the hole.
