Garrett, i come from a small village in the heart of africa. i had to travel days through a raging civil war to make it to an internet cafe to see your part… it was fantastic! if you give me that frame my family could feed off of it for weeks, maybe even months! the doctors here say i may even be able to use it to replace my bones because i have a bone marrow disease. anyways, I trust that whoever you choose will be the most deserving… *cough cough*

Man Garrett. This video part was amazing! The ender was so crazy. 360 bar catch bar down the MACBA? So how does it feel to one up one of the biggest names in street BMX Corey Martinez? In his part in The Levi’s Video he just did a straight up truckdriver over it. Did you know that he did it before you went for the 360 bar catch bar? The video is amazing though, super good job man! Wow. That was an amazing video part. I like how the music and the riding just went along great. I liked how the very beginning was filmed in your hometown I think it really captured the thanksgiving feel (banksgiving, thanksgiving I am thinking its like trying a bmx thanksgiving.)I remember the very first time I ever watched a new pollution i saw yours and in the beginning you were talking about your dads death (I am sorry by the way) and how you guys were close and that he got you into bmx and im sure he would be proud of how far you have come.

dang dude….ur part was pretty rad..my internet sucks ass but i kept refreshin til i saw the whole thing…watching this is keepin me going, because about a month and a half ago, i had a pretty bad fall on my bike at the DHS jam, broke two bones in my foot, and completely crushed another into pieces. I had to have surgery, but that was only half of it. i still have a few more to go in order to heal 100%. watching your video, and how good you are, gives me the confidence to get back on my bike, and hopefully build my way up to as good as you… with those new shoes.hahaha because theyre needed. right now i only got one.

eventhough ive bin ridin for 2 years now and i see quite a few videos with new stuff everytime i see one of garret i think to myself bloody hell what a crazy kid howhe do that? haha and i damn thevid for comin out at a time where ive got a broken hand… i need to go ride after watching the best riding ive seen in for ever!! beats everythin- the music fits the riding only to well and especially garret! i love the way no spots are poverusedbut everyspot has its own move

I was 16 when i needed some weed.
I went to the local dealer, he used to ride an old stock haro.
After paying he told me he’d get the dope for me but that he left it at his house, so he left and told me to wait.
He never came back, and because of my instant need for some
dope I became very instabel, shaky and aggresive. I saw him riding at central park on his bmx. I grabbed him and slammed him to the ground, then kicked him to death (which he fully deserved).
too bad, some motor cop watched me and started the chase immediately after the dealer died. I grabbed the bmx and the biggest pursuit ever in history begun.
I really had to get away, cause i already had my 2 strikes.. which meant i had to ride faster than him (bout 200 mph). I also had to jump over al sorts of things,cars,rails,stairs dogs and grannies.
when I lost the cop i realised I had bunnyhoped a 3 feet gate, gapped a stair with handrail and did a big ass wallride.
Right now i am hiding in mexico, practicing my bmx skills.
HOWEVER
I am still stuck with my stock haro from 2000 and no shoes.
I dont have the money to buy one, nor do i want to because the feds would immediately know were i live in mexico and chase me down.
while checking some bmx stuff in an internet cafe I saw this.
I happen to be in desperate need for a good frame and shoes (yes i ride with naked feet), as you just read. what a coincidence!

Cuando vi por primera ves en un video a Garrett (Play Station Pro 2006), pense, con solo 16 años y ya tiene ese exelente estiloy muy buenos trucos, se veia un poco nervioso ,pero dije los demas bikers tendran que preocuparse en el futuro, porque creia que se quedaria montando Park, pero afortunadamente se dedico mas al Street aunque es tal su talento y estilo que se desempeña de manera estraordinaria en otras modalidades del BMX. Este video es increible, se puede ver el rapido progreso e insisto, ese estilo inigualable que hacen que podamos disfrutar de una leyenda viviente de este deporte. Ademas las sesiones de Dennis,Spinner y Nigel tambien estan exelentes.
Espero que sigan viniendo producciones como esta y que Garret siga progresando y enseñandonos a disfrutar del BMX.

Wow man, that was really impressive. That was Van Homan Criminal Mischief impressive. Every trick in his part kept me excited. I honestly have never been too stoked on Garret’s riding until i saw this. It is awesome when a contest killer can film a part and do crazier stuff than you would normally see, and make it look good. Mad props to Garret and the Nike crew for making this. That was one of the best parts i’ve seen in a looooong time.

yo i have been rolling around around on an 07 easterb traildigger for almost three years now, the frame is beat up. on the chainstay where it is dented from grinding it is barely holdin together, the frame would help out a lot those kicks wouldn’t hurt either that video was godly, i could watch it 19 times and on the 20th i will still say wow at the end one of those things that you never get tired of watching

Its been a long year waiting for double ankle surgery(brostrom)
and as I sit here getting ready for hospital tommorow I realize how lucky we all are to be able to ride(sometimes).
This is the longest ive been of my bike in 30 years and im dying to get my surgery over and build up a new ride.
Your bike and style are both very atractive to me(in a manly way)

I met you at Dew Tour this past year in Baltimore Maryland. It was when you, Dennis and a crap load of others were riding at the Port Discovery stair set. I was there with the kid who whipped the stair set that night. I felt pretty honored to meet you because you’ve been my favorite rider since I can imagine, hahaha. And all i can say about this current video part is HOLY CRAP!!! I thought your shook part was amazing but you kept it coming and topped that by a whole hell of a lot. But yea, im super siked on your frame coming out, it looks pretty dialed in. Have fun riding and keep up the amazing talent you’ve got going on.

Hey Garrett, I love your part in the new Nike video. I have been stuck at home for the last month and a half because I broke my ankle on my bmx. That was one of the few video parts I have seen of late that still has the “what?!” factor. There’s so much good riding out these days in so many different video parts and web videos, but so many of them are the same footjam and tuck-no-hander variations on street that they get boring. Not the case with Garret. I had to stop and play back some of Garret’s tricks 3 or four times. I don’t know if this part will rival the classics such as Van Homan in Criminal Mischief, Ruben in both Etnies videos, Sean Burns, Gary Young, but it’s certainly the best contender in years. There was stuff in there that I never expected to see done and had never even seen attempted, especially the truck down the huge stair set. The last 10 tricks or so had me saying “what?!” for each one. It was one of the more original parts I have seen in ages and left me in awe.

Thats one of the best video parts i’ve seen in a long time. Its pretty cool how you have all these lines and tricks that are already difficult for most people and then you toss a bar spin into it. Premium looks like a good company to ride for too, i like how its set up to be based around the riders insted of having the best parts out there and following every little trend that comes along. oh yeah they make some strog frames too, i’ve been riding my Premium Team for almost two years now and its bent dented and has been through hell and back but is still holding up for now. As for the Nike shoes they look like a good shoe but i’ve never had a pair so i wouldnt know. It looks like you can really bring bmx to a new level if you haven’t already so good luck.

You know, tail whips, bar spins and that do get boring as everyone does them. More variety please Mr. Reynolds! Also, I may get flamed for this, but I think you should wear a helmet. Yeah, I know, it’s not the ‘cool’ thing to do while riding street, it should be done. Especially with the huge stuff you do. I don’t want to hear another story like what happen to Aitken, that should never happen again. It’s just sad to hear/read/see stuff like that.

2 days ago my local bike got stolen by some crackhead kid. my parents want me to pay for my next bike the problem is is that i cant afford it. itll probably be about 4 or 5 months before i can afford it all again. bikes and parts are so flipping expensive ill have to be working forever. i really dont know what to do right now. it would REALLLLLY help me out if you please please help me out with a frame. it’ll be so appreciated you cant even imagine. i really need this bad dude. i spent almost a year getting it altogether and in like 10 min a guy had slipped out with it. i hope you dont think im lying. i wish i was. i swear on my dads grave im being for real. im desperate to get a bike again but im afraid ill have to quit if i cant afford it. for the love of all things deserving. please help me out. i need this so bad i could cry. =[

theirs some much style and technically u bring to the table and iIt’s rare to find riders that that can be put up against a little curb or even an 8 step up and just without even thing whip out endless lines of flow,style. the video was tight top 3 best video parts I’ve seen. Much respect..

that’s some incredible riding. it’s like he’s a real life video game character that does everything all triple combo-ed out. manual to a long ass ice pick to a bar spin to a manual. Wow man,the riding in this Video made me fell like I was a little kid again watching my frist Bike Video because the riding in it Had a lot of style to it and the riding flowed with the song too.When I was watching it I said,”What The F*ck,” at almost every trick because the whole Video to me was like every trick was a Banger.I did notice that some clips you had a Gyro and some no Brakes but that’s just personal preference on how you want your Bike.
This part is just a sugesten but you and the Nike 6.0 Team should do a Canada tour if your not palnning on doing one anyways because In every video I see U.S spots and I think,”I wonder what they’d do at my Local Park?”So it’d be cool to see you guys here in Canada

Hey man crazy part. I just learned barspins 2 weeks ago and right now they are my favorite trick. You make them look so easy. I wanna try them over the hip at our park but our park is pretty sketch. I have a mongoose that weighs about 30-35 pounds. I have short bars and 1 piece crank, and odesseys old pedals. Do you know how i could make my bike any lighter? I just fixed up my bike its been a while since I’ve rode but I was always alright. been dreaming of a bmx since i was 12. i used to sit with my cousin in bed before bedtime and look up on the dark ceiling and saw ourselves in the future, flying planes, having cars, traveling, and there was a red oldschool bmx.
well that dream died because my parents just couldn’t buy me one.
now i am almost 22, got a job but still can’t buy one. i got more important stuff to spend money on than a bmx, even tho i really want one.
