I don’t get how as parents you can watch yoru 12 year old repeated hit his head that much and let him continue on doing that same trick. at least have him chill for the day. Yeah he’s got a helmet on but that doesn’t stop his brain from still getting a unhealthy rattle.
Dude if the kid loves what he’s doing all you can do is try and make it as safe as possible. The reason he’s good is because his parents gave him room to progress. If his parents made him chill after every big crash he wouldn’t have progressed like he has. Besides, he would probably just ride when his parents weren’t around if they kept making him sit out.

Used to go to school with this kid… absolutely amazing bmxer. he has been doing this sorta stuff forever. we used to bike up his ramps and then just drop the bikes and jump headfirst into his foampit. amazing to watch him progress in this sport.
That hurt my balls trying to get that done right.
