First BMX race…
Second place at the Orange County YMCA BMX track. I was 13 years old.

First trick you learned…
I can’t even remember…probably a wheelie on my old Diamondback with 12″ wheels.

First famous riding spot you rode…
UCI was probably the first real famous street spot I rode. I remember seeing all the spots from Nowhere Fast, which was awesome.

First bad injury…
I’ve never had any bad injuries, just a lot of stitches.

Sunday!

First time you traveled out of the country…
My first riding trip in another country was this year in Barcelona with Sunday! I definitely got spoiled with that trip. There’s probably no other city with that many awesome spots.

First time you met a real pro…
I met Robbie Morales back in my racing days. He was the local hero at the track in Orange.

It was a barspin through a palm tree shot by Justin Kosman.

First time you got knocked out…
I’ve actually never been knocked out.

First set of trails you rode…
This place called The Glen by my old house, which ended up getting filled in with boulders.

First awkward date…
A double date with my ex and my sister at Hooters. It really wasn’t awkward, it just sucked.

First car you drove…
An old Toyota pickup with squeaky Fabtech suspension!

First time on an airplane…
I think I was flying to Chicago to see family.

First time you got in trouble…
I threw scissors at a kid in kindergarten, but he was asking for it…
