My hub guard was made for the Gsport front hub, but with the help of some chain ring spacers I’m running it on the back now. I didn’t have anything to do with it at all, I had no idea it had happened, really. I was told, “I would have to thank the youngest Empire worker for that.”
Which parts do you go through the most?
Tires, grips, and brake cables.
Explain how you were afraid you weren’t going to like your signature frame because you got used to a different frame.
When I first got on Sunday it took me a while to get used to the new bike because the bike that I rode for so long before that was so different. So when I was designing my bike I was so pumped to get a bike I knew I liked. During the last few months that I’ve been waiting for my frame to be finished I’ve gotten used to the Sunday bike I first started riding and I liked it for a bunch of features that my bike wasn’t going to have. So I was worried that I wasn’t going to like my frame once I got it because I thought all the things I once liked a lot where going to be things I hated now. Once I put it all together it was the best thing ever—it feels amazing for manuals. Like I said, I was just scared that all the things I always liked I would not like anymore, but once I got back on to the bike that I always liked it all came right back and was perfect.
I know you’ve been racing BMX a lot lately, how is it riding two different bikes?
It’s not too bad because I know how to ride my race bike on the track, but not to bunnyhop or anything. I do everything else on my street bike. I’m sure it would be rough if I bunnyhopped on the race bike all day because the back end is long and its a 21.25” top-tube so it would be nuts.
What’s on the horizon colors wise, what are you going to try next?
I have big ideas, but you will see it soon and it will be sweet.

Are my eyes just effed up or does it look like his forks are bent? I wish I could ride one of Ross’s setups just to feel how dialed it is…
hahahaha, yes they are bent…
iR1D3bmx21 and lulz, you guys are freaking idiots!!! that’s how they’re made.
…director forks…theyre made that way…look at the drop outs…theyre not welded on to a tube theyre at the bottom of the fork so in order to get the same feeling+more response they eliminated the dropouts!
i agree with the fact that the forks are bent. i wanna ride it too. ive neva seen anything like it. i think it looks awesome
the forks look bent
The forks aren’t bent. They’re they Odyssey Director forks. They use a new kind of joint between the steerer tube and the for legs that is supposed to be a lot stronger and allows the for rake to come off from the top of the fork down instead of coming from the dropout. Notice how the dropout is directly in line with the for legs. The end result is the same amount of rake (so the same feel) with less dropout to hang up on. Lots of the Odyssey team rides them, including Taj (last time I saw).
Go here http://www.odysseybmx.com/ click on catalog then director forks for the official description.
AHH IM SO PUMPED! friday i get the S2 directors!!!!
Sorry mistake “directly in line with the fork legs” not “for legs”
directer forks come bent like that so it would have the same feel as normal forks but the dropouts flow directly from the legs
it is not bent it has the same offset as most other forks plus Aaron Ross would not ride bent forks he is too good for that crap
Pretty shore for every one who is still thinking they are bent “Brian K” and “Aaron Tremblett”
ahah covered it pretty well.
The forks aren’t bent that is how Odyssey makes them.
who gives a shit about if thier bent or not??? its still hell good:)
Aaron Ross is my one and only idol. He’s always got a slick setup. I love his style and his riding abilities. I would do F**king anything to meet him. Anywho I would say he’s one the best riders out there.
Ya man same wit me. I Have his signature bars and grips. And they give my bike such a smooth feeling 2 it. He’s such a good rider. And i can’t believe people think the Odyssey S2 Director forks r bent.
i love all the morons on here thinking his forks are bent. it’s nice to see that some people have common sense!!! they’re great forks btw.
i want to sex that bike all night
holy shit bent forks much?
You have the sweetest bike i have ever seen in my life!!!
i love how ppl are still talking about the forks wen 3 fucking ppl explained it damn
Hey is this set-up out in a complete.

The first time i saw the new Director forks, i was a bit confused, they seem to do the job and all, but i’ll stick to the classic dirt forks i’ve been running since 3 yrs ago, light, strong and made by a good company.(but i may get them when mine crap out, whenever that happens!)
well umm…aaron ross and garret reynolds are fucken boss.

I would love 2 get sponsored by all of his sponsors.
