Next month’s Pro Q&A is with Dakota Roche, so here’s your chance to ask him whatever you want. You can ask the 21-year old shredder out of Huntington Beach, California, what it’s like travel around the world filming for Levis, chat about surfing, get some tips on nosewheelies, or how to land smooth on giant 180s. He also has a signature Fit frame coming out soon and has a few video projects in the works, as well.
Post your questions for Dak in the comments of this page or email them to jeff.zielinski@transworld.net, and be sure to include your name.

Who/what inspired you to ride bmx?
July 27th, 2008 at 6:54 pm
I noticed every hat you wear has an “A” on it. For example the Oakland A’s, Atlanta Braves, Anaheim Angels, etc.. Why is that so?
July 27th, 2008 at 7:19 pm
Once, when I was 11 years old, I saw you at the Mosh video premier at Goods in Portland, Oregon. After the video, you were outside riding. I remember you did a 180 the while still in fakie, bunnyhopped about nipple height, landing in fakie still. When I saw that, I asked you how you bunnyhop so high and your response was,”Psh, I don’t know.” Then when I was leaving, you said something a stupid kids and high bunnyhops. What’s up with that?
July 27th, 2008 at 8:59 pm
did you ever feel like all you wanted to do was ride your bike all day everyday, not making videos but just with your friends at some spot and then the next day you would be with them again..
so i guess my question is
“do you ever wish noone knew about you except your friends that your ride with”?
July 27th, 2008 at 9:44 pm
Hey Dakota, I’ve been a huge fan of yours since I saw you in your first interview, and even more when I saw you at Epic chilling with Kurt and Alfredo. My brother was afraid to ask you for an autograph, haha. Anyway, I really wanted to know, how are you so good at nose manuals? I loved your part in Insight, by the way.

Do you remember the boy down here in Brazil that asked you about how much had you cut your bars?
How was the X-Games trip to my country? Did you ride any street spot or do you have any funny story about the trip?
Cheers,
The boy from Brazil that asked you about how much had you cut your bars. lol

What is going to be featured on your signature frame? Is it going to be something like a s3? Slimmer tubes? bombproof welds?
July 30th, 2008 at 2:54 pm
How does it feel to be one of the biggest names in BMX and to be invited to the very first X Games Street event when just a couple years ago you were virtually unknown?

August 29th, 2008 at 2:11 am
I really love how you differentiate yourself from the rest of the herd by basically nose manualing and manualing out of every grind you do and to the edge of almost every curb you come across. I was just wondering, why do you do such a thing, and what started you on this fun-looking style?? You’re an amazing rider man, keep up the awesome riding.

Would you ever come to Heb City, UT to shred our new skate park. It would be sweet to have you come with some of the other fit team shredders also.
We were thinking of having a jam for Mikey here but I couldn’t get the team to come.
Once summer is here we are most likely going to throw out a jam to help Mikey.
