Crash Of The Day Ryan Mills

This is the last thing I shot while in Portland for the BMX House story (which will be in the January ‘07 issue of Ride). Ryan Mills showed a group of this spot and according to Eddie, it was too good not to do. What you can’t see is the three foot tall bank, eight feet of flat, and then the bar-height tall ledge Eddie went about five feet over. I shot film on the side, while I had Mills fire off the digi sequence you see here. Eddie landed perfect, but just couldn’t hold onto the bike…his wrist ended up a bit too sore to give it another go. I don’t blame him!
