Frostbike, for those unfamiliar with it, is distributor QBP’s (Quality Bicycle Products) in-house tradeshow. It’s not open to the public—only to a limited number of their dealers, and features small, simple booths featuring the brands that they distribute (not just BMX, but road, mountain, and everything bicycle in between). Attendees are treated to a couple of days of amazing food, drinks, floor time with shop owners/employees, tours of QBP’s incredible facility, seminars, demos, and good times with QBP’s ultra cool and super friendly employees. It might sound kinda dull if you’re young and just want to ride your bike, but anyone who is into new products (who isn’t?) and seeing different aspects of industry would enjoy it. And any BMX guys who brought their bike also get a chance to get some shred time in at the Fantasy Factory indoor ramp spot nearby.
At this year’s show we saw new products, colorways, prototypes, and more from Odyssey, Stolen, Profile Racing, ODI, Deluxe, Maxxis, Volume, Demolition, FBM, Flybikes, Deco, Mutant Bikes, Tree Bicycle Co., The Shadow Conspiracy, and more. Check out the gallery for what was on display, who was manning the booths, and some basic info on everything. For more specific info on the goods, go to the links above. And to see these items, as well as everything QBP distributes, and find a QBP dealer near you, go to the QBMX homepage at qbpbmx.com.
