Inaugural Bike Expo Will Host the King of New York Action Sports Showcase Featuring Animal Bikes
New York, NY – April 24, 2012 – The King of New York®, the premier Pro/Am BMX event in New York City, teams up with Bike New York on May 3-5 at the inaugural Bike Expo New York presented by Eastern Mountain Sports. The Bike New York Action Sports Showcase will feature a King of New York® Mini-jam and demos together with the Animal Bikes team. The new King of New York t-shirt designs will be debuted as well. Bike Expo NY will be held at Basketball City, Pier 36, located at the intersection of South Street and Montgomery Street (off the FDR Drive) just north of the Manhattan Bridge. The first King of New York demos are scheduled for 12 noon on Friday and Saturday, May 4 and 5. The bikepark for the King of New York mini-jam will be open from Noon to 6pm daily and is free and open to all riders (helmets required.)
