James Van Doren, one of the co-fouders of the iconic BMX shoes known as Vans passed away earlier this month at the age of 72.
Vans has remained one of the most popular shoe companies in action sports since its inception in 1966 and has sponsored some of the best BMX riders in the world over the years including Fuzzy Hall, Dennis McCoy, Robbie Morales, Scotty Cranmer, and Dakota Roche, just to name a few.
From all of us here at Ride, our thoughts go out to the Van Doren family during this time of loss.
