What were your goals when designing this product?
In the early days of Profile crank production (80’ or 81’), we made a spline drive spider. Considering sprockets were much thinner at that point, the splines did not hold up to the torque. The idea behind the newer versions (20 years later) is to create a thicker and more aesthetically intricate design.
Why are your sprockets better than others, or what makes them different from others on the market?
We make the Spline Drive Sprocket, like the rest of our products, in the USA. That and our intricate machine work and finishing (anodizing) is what sets our product apart.
