SE sent over a couple of their new 2012 complete bikes to check out including two dialed 20″ options, and two classic 26″ bikes, too.
2012 SE Heavy Hitter:
The Heavy Hitter is high-end all around. The frame alone is built with aftermarket quality: a double-butted mainframe, externally machined-BB, removable brake mounts, and heat-treated bottom bracket, head tube, & dropouts. The parts package is also high- end with 48-spline cranks, new tapered forks, Odyssey pedals, sealed hubs, female front hub, CNC lightweight stem, & Tioga tires. This bike is truly as high-end as can be – straight out of the box. 24lbs
2012 SE Everyday:
The Everyday is a new bike for 2012. It’s built on a similar frame design as our Hoodrich – mid-BB and integrated headset – but instead of Cr-Mo frame, fork, & bars, it uses Hi-Ten tubing & has a 20.5” top tube. The key features of this bike are the integrated headset, 25-9 gearing, mid-BB, and a great price! 25.4lbs
2012 26” Quadangle Looptail:
This year, the 26” Quadangle Looptail makes a return to the retro SE lineup. Built with one of the most innovative BMX frames of all time, this year’s limited edition 26” Quadangle Looptail is as cool as it gets. This bike features all-new Bubble Mohawk hubs, A’ME Tri grips, and high-end 48-spline cranks. This bike will be limited to only 250 in the USA.
2012 26” OM Flyer:
The 26” OM Flyer is ALL chromed out this year! And there are not many chrome bikes on the market nowadays. This unique 26” BMX bike, with legendary tubing & geometry, distinctive SE hubs, and A’ME Cam grips, continues to be one of the most sought after BMX bikes on the market.
