Ti spokes, and I run 18″ tubes.
Which parts do you go through the most?
KHE Park tires, but they’re light.
Describe your bike setup and how you like your bike to feel…
I like everything to be tight, and I don’t run parts ’till they die. If there look rough or old I’ll switch them out.
What part are you most particular about or do you feel makes the biggest difference on your bike?
Handlebars. I’m trying to go bigger every year, but I cannot just put on massive bars and have them feel good.
Do you remember your first “real” BMX bike?
Yeah, kinda…I had a 12″ bike, but my dad put GT stickers on it and I thought it was a GT for a long time, but it was just a cheap 12″ bike, haha.
Tell us a bit about your new signature frame from Colony that’s about to come out…
Clint at Colony has been a best mate for a very long time, and when he heard I was unhappy at Mirraco he offered me an amazing deal that included a frame. Everything is 100% my input. Colony is the best bike company out there, so to seek more go to colonybmx.com.au.
Your bikes always seem to have a specific color theme, so would you say how your bike looks is important to you?
It’s the old saying, “If you look good, you feel good, and if you feel good, you ride good.” -TJ Lavin
