Daniel Dhers, Dennis Enarson, and Scotty Cranmer were the ones who rode hard enough (and consistent enough) to get those coveted medals today. For the most part, everyone’s lines were the same as qualifying, but the tricks were turned up a notch today, and the finals went off today in L.A. at X Games.
Dennis Enarson qualified first on Thursday’s eliminations, then qualified first in round one of finals today—and he kept that lead and it looked like he was going to take home the gold medal right up until Daniel Dhers’ last run. However, Daniel stepped it up and his signature back-to-back style of whip and spin combos was enough to take over the lead and give him the gold medal for a second year in a row.
