Since the gates haven’t opened up to the public, the feel today at X Games was relatively chill. The vert practice was mellow, with DMC giving a couple of scares and Vince Byron ditching the bike on a barspin and knee-sliding away. Coco Zurita hurt his ankle yesterday and has pulled out of Mega Ramp, but still may try to ride vert… Street saw a little more action, but even then, they don’t compete until Sunday and I believe more than a few dudes got loose last night. Everyone killed it, but I think the best thing I saw was Garrett do a 180 bar-to-backwards grind-to-180 bar out. Street is gonna be awesome…but it’d be even more awesome if it had 20 and not just 10 people in it. Park was…interesting. Lots of people struggling with the super tight course and others appear to have written it off all together. Tomorrow is elimination and it should be a bit of a mess…
