**Contest Format:
10 “team captains” picked three riders to be on their team. Each team got a 10 minute jam session. Each rider was scored individually during the jam. The four scores were added up to get a total score for the team, which determined who qualified…the top five scoring teams qualified to ride in finals. In the finals the riders were paired up in groups according to their scores so they rode in order from lowest scores to highest scores. Again, each rider was scored individually. The teams’ riders’ scores were added again to get an overall team score to determine the winning team. The best rider of the day was voted on by the riders themselves. The best trick contest was a separate 20 minute jam. And the best line was chosen by the judges from all runs throughout the entire day. Confusing? A little, but if you think reading it is confusing, try writing this stuff!
