Which parts do you go through the most?
Tires, tubes, and pedals.
Describe your bike setup and how you like your bike to feel…
Tall cruiser, easy on the back. Also a short ass end…easier to pick up on hops.
What part are you most particular about or do you feel makes the biggest difference on your bike?
The stem and the bars play a big role when it comes to the comfortable height of the setup.
Do you remember your first “real” BMX bike?
Yes I do! Mongoose, 20-inch chrome, V bend bars, plastic rims, and a huge yellow Dyno helmet to protect the dome. Those were the days.
You’ve been spending your time in Austin the past few months…why did you leave Nashville behind?
Cold weather blows. Down there you can eat the finest of foods and there is always different people in and out of town to pedal with…Good seeing different faces and meeting people. Also, Austin is a real chill scene, which I like too.
Any plans of moving to ATX for good?
Maybe some day. I still really enjoy Tennessee during the warm seasons. It’s my homeland.
What’s been keeping you busy while you are there? I heard you do a lot of exploring around the city…
Working with Stew for that Props OWNED section. It’s crazy to be working with Stew. I grew up watching his vids. Inspiring to say the least. Also working with Jim Cielencki on some filming projects. Yeah, Austin is full of unique spots. I’ve been lurking the streets a bit.
