So what’s up with Jeff DuPaul having a “team”? Here’s what Jeff had to say about it when asked by Brian Tunney at ESPN…
“It started out at the Toronto Jam four years ago. My friend Andre Postell listed Team Jeff DuPaul as his sponsor. And we thought it was funny. So we made a joke back when Myspace was cool that read “Now accepting sponsor me tapes.” So many people sent in tapes that we decided to run with the joke and say we were a team. Then I tore my ACL and made a video of some friends. We couldn’t decide what to call the video, so we called it “TJD” to run with the joke and we got a lot of positive feedback. So basically we have been running with the joke ever since. TJD is just a crew of friends. All we do is hang out, joke around, and ride; just like everyone else.” -Jeff DuPaul
