Today I am proudly unveiling a new website in conjunction with a private facility in my hometown of Chicago, Illinois. The Bakery, which has been under construction for the past month, is finally completed. This historic landmark and former bread factory, is now home to an indoor street-based BMX facility.
To compliment this exclusive location, The Bakery will be viewable through various interactive outlets:
Although the Bakery will not be open to the public, BMXers and fans from around the globe will have the opportunity to be a part of the action with access to videos, photos and other media featuring their favorite pro BMX riders.
I have always dreamt of having a spot that is at my disposal 24-7. With the help of some great people, including Nate Wessel, John Povah and 4 Seasons Skatepark, I was able to make this dream a reality. The icing on the cake is that I get to enjoy this utopia with my friends rain or shine!
The Bakery has a heavy line-up of pro street riders slated to visit in the near future and, hopefully, many more to follow after that. Riders already on deck to shred the brand new rails are:
