Which parts do you go through the most?
I go through grips the most, and pedals second. Those seem to be the most important things to me to have a good feeling bike.
Describe your bike setup and how you like your bike to feel…
It’s a pretty solid feel. I like it a little light, but not to where it will break. I just like everything to stay solid, tight, and grippy.
What part are you most particular about or do you feel makes the biggest difference on your bike?
Bars and tight solid wheels. Overall just a tight bike makes all the difference to me.
Do you remember your first “real” BMX bike?
Yup, haha…a DK General Lee hand me down bike. Dialed!
You were off your bike for a while with pneumonia, what was that like?
Yea! It was terrible. The worst and most painful thing I ever went through. I got it from having an infection in my lungs called pleurisy. The infection made it painful to breath, so I took short shallow breaths, and that created fluid in my lungs and that’s how I got pneumonia. More to the story, but overall I’m stoked to be back riding!
Do you build a new bike from the ground up, or just replace parts as needed?
I do a little bit of both. I build up a bike every two or three months and replace stuff as needed in between.
