STADI SUMMER SESSION
Time: 13th of August 2010
Place: Narinkkatori/Kamppi, Helsinki Finland
Prepare for a good Nordic BMX this summer, as Summer Session moves to Stadi — Helsinki!
Unlike Simpel Sessions in January/February, Stadi Summer Session is an outdoor event, so there is a big hope for warm sunny weather,
breezy hang-outs in the greenery and a lot of spontaneous street riding on the great streets of Helsinki.
Stadi Summer Session will take place in an exciting location in the very heart of Helsinki — on the Narinkkatori square in front of Kamppi center. This shopping, lifestyle and travel center is packed with shops and restaurants, as well as two underground bus terminals and the main metro station of Helsinki.
The course is designed by Nate Wessel. The event is free of charge for spectators.
For confirmed riders check here. (More riders will be added on daily basis.)

Also on the same weekend there’s FLOW music festival which is very good. So one more good reason to visit Helsinki in August!

Don’t miss out the Stadi Summer Session on Narinkkatori in Helsinki, Finland!
Having started out as just a local hangout, Session events have worked their way up to become one of the biggest and best contest in the World of BMX bikes. And not because of the massive media coverage or hefty prize purse, but more for its ability of attracting the biggest names in the business, a brand new course which never fails to impress, a laid-back vibe, and the feeling of a big BMX party.
A country of 200 000 lakes and great street spots to inspire the emergence of around 50 000 skaters across the country, Finland adds up to the ultimate destination for a wild nature get-away mixed with a taste of the best Nordic urban landscapes. Helsinki — or Stadi, as the locals call their capital — has been referred to as the “pocket-size metropolis”, and it truly does live up to its high rep. With the young vibe, liberating atmosphere and bicycle friendliness, Helsinki is always happening, attracting creative minds and fun-lovers alike. It feels great to roll around, surrounded by the impressive modern architecture, and nearly half a millennium of history, with sea breeze following you trough the streets.
