2009 Etnies/Arnette Fall Classic Contest Photos & Results

Just about every weekend somewhere in the world a grassroots style jam or contest goes down, and this weekend we had the privilege to go to one that Arnette put on at the Etnies Skatepark in Lake Forest, California. The Etnies park is one of the best is So Cal, and has plenty of awesome locals that all came out for the event. Here are a handful of photos from the comp along with the results from all the classes.

Ben Snowden is no stranger to contests and rode like the seasoned veteran that he is, barely taking a foot off during his run and the jam session. Tabletop over the bubble hip. Photo by Fat

Dylan Stark is one of the Etnies park locals and feels right at home on this quarter where he hit nine and a half feet to win $500 from Arnette for the highest air. Photo by Fat

Mike “Hucker” Clark won this contest last year, but his name got the best of him this year and a few too many wild hucking moves resulting in crashes kept him down. Opposite one-footed Euro transfer out of the vert wall. Photo by Fat

Caleb Quanbeck has been staying in Lake Forest for the past few weeks and was able to ride in the contest today where he threw out textbook no-handers like this. Photo by Fat

Cody Ewen was definitely one to watch today and was one of the few riders of the afternoon to hit the big hubba ledge. Luc-e grind. Photo by Fat
