it makes no difference what way it points.. as long as the rounded edge is facing into your sprocket/driver

In the main picture (bike on rock) you can see that the pegs are clear, so I'm inclined to say that they are Plegs.

but of course. bmx bikes are made especially for people who want to have a nice little bike to go shopping with. the best ones come with fenders and kickstand.
