I agree….just because you´ve done so much for this sport doensn´t mean that you can win a contest with easy moves and no progression. Still, I believe that Ryan´s got style and Mirra as well…..young guns like Reynolds and Dhers will do stuff in like 3 yrs that will be beyond belief…….bmx is dependend on new tricks and fresh riders……too bad I am over 30……..ride forever!

but this is dew tour, ryan threw way more barspins, and spins, and spins with barspins. you think they should give it to garrett just because of his image then? the tight pants, brakeless big bar'd, everybody else looks like him except for dew tour park riders image? garrett is only going to win the street comps, because that's where he kills it. now do i think ryan shoulda won this? nope, place high, but not 1st.

The contest IS FIXED weather you want to believe it or not. Nyquist only wins cos of his sponsors cash.His runs suck and he has been repeating the same tricks year in year out.Barspin crap and truckdriver crap.regular backflips in 2009! come on! this is pathetic! Mark Webb,Maddog are both far more inovative than Nyquist,he is one of the reasons the sport is becoming so damn boring.He never comes up with anything new,no wonder people are getting sick of him and booing him at contests, so many know he sucks.
the backflip drop-in was done a few years ago by Mirra aswell,so that is nothing new either…
this contest like the dozens of others was a fix, nyqust could win a contest by doing a 360 and a kick-turn and still win cos the judges are so far up his ass.,..

A-lot of people a "over" Garret because he has been blowing up lately, but c-mon, what did he get, 7th, 8th? He had variety, style, unique lines, hieght and look at his shit, he comes in perfectly smooth 90% of the time. I'm so tired of watching Nyquest win all the time by doing truck drivers and barspins. Dirt, part, its the same shit every time. Not hating on Nyquest at all either, because if I kept winning contests and making bank doing the same stuff I've been doing for 5 years i would. The judging sucks.

This stuff sucks. Reynolds could do exactly the same thing as Nyquist and he wouldn't win. Also, SLC dirt, Nyquist won even though the guy in second was 10 times better. Nyquist sucks, Dew tour sucks, Simpel Session is the real deal.

I agree that ryan shouldnt have won, first reaction is it was really good with good lines and tricks with a high intensity, but when you look closer you notice that pretty much the only trick he does is barspins, and he pedals between absolutely everything, no flow. Doing tons of barspins is even worse than tons of whips which people always moan about because barspins are easier.

Garret should of placed so much higher, the down side whip was like over a 20 foot gap and he hopped over it. mirra had no chance of winning with his run to many missed walls and yeah did none of his bangers like 5 whips, flair whips and the 360 backflip no hander. i think e few people flaired that gap in practice. Nyquist got a 94 point something for his run and it wasn't even that good

this is only the best stuff of both runs. it may look like garrett should of gotten top 3 but what you didn't see here is him falling in both of his runs. before garretts falls his runs were sick though. that downside whip over that gap was opposite which was crazy. i think he should have gotten a bit higher but not much. mirra should have gotten higher too. and nyquist did deserve top 3, he had a solid run from start to finish

Nyquist had a killer run. he stacks barspins on to everything. not one line was dead air. and he had lines no one else was runnning. We need to ignore whats "in" and look at who put together a solid line w/ original, but still crazy tricks. Id rather whip a gap than bar it, more chance you can toss the bike rather than eat it.

Nyquist is a fucking faggot and the Dew Tour is rigged. Its like if Lemond came back and rode the tour de france, didnt win any stagess, but won 1st overall because of what hes done for the sport. The worst part is hearing the judges praising him after doing his bar spin runs from 1995 like hes some sort of god. He should be in the stands rooting on the kids who are still being innovative.
