Ride BMX Hosting A $5,000 Best Trick Contest At Orlando Dew Tour

Next weekend (October 14-18) the Dew Tour is heading to Orlando for the final stop of the year. More insane riding is sure to go down, and a year-end champion will be given that coveted Dew Cup along with a ton of money. We’re psyched as usual to go to the event, but this time we have even more to be stoked on…we are hosting our own Transworld Ride BMX Best Trick contest on a dirt jump and giving $5,000 to the winner.

Dan’s Comp is helping us out with the Best Trick contest and putting up the prize money, and with $5,000 on the line and this being the last stop of the year, I can only imagine what kind of crazy shit the riders are going to be throwing down. I really won’t be surprised if a few new tricks get pulled during Best Trick, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

The format will basically be one jump with a roll in that off to the side of the regular dirt course (no section to get through to hit the jump) and a full 30 minutes to do whatever you want. So riders will get as many chances as they can to pull whatever they can within the time limit. Pretty straight forward… At the end, whoever has the best trick will get the $5,000 from Dan’s Comp.

The Best Trick comp is going to be from 9:30-10:00pm on Saturday night. It won’t be televised right away, but of course we’ll have a video up the next day. And you’ll be able to catch highlights on Fuel TV the following week on The Weekly Update.
