The pros have voted, and we have counted, so here are their top five nominees in each of the seven categories for the 2009 NORA Cup Awards.
If you are new to the program, here’s how it works… NORA stands for Number One Rider Award. Each year we ask each and every pro we can possibly think of to name their top rider of the year in seven categories (Ramp, Street, Dirt, Flatland, Race, Video Part, and Video). We add up the votes and the rider with the most votes wins BMX’s most prestigious award, the NORA Cup.
The awards will be given out at the biggest party of the year in Las Vegas on September 24th. The party is free, and open to anyone 21 and over. Before the awards show is the all-ages world premiere of Fit’s newest DVD, “Stay Fit.” We’ll see you there!
Let us know in the comments who you think will win, or who you want to win.
