to all the fools who are scratching their heads at nyquist’s run, he i beleive i saw a opposite double truck in their which i have never seen and also a 2.5 barspin flip. The thing about the last trick is that a normal person plans his run and gives up if anything goes wrong. Nyquist on the other hand takes any problems that he is faced with and turns into a crazy trick. The judges recognized that and gave him the win.
That doesn’t make any sense at all. Next time I see someone miss pedals on a whip, I’ll expect him to win… according to your logic. Oh, and Bohan and Dosch does a ton of opposite stuff in case you didn’t notice. Judge consistently because that was ridiculous.
i do see what you are saying but the thing is that if u slip a pedal, then you have the other pedal to put your weight on. when you miss catch your bars, its either put both hands on or crash. Also, its not just that it is opposite its that its a variation that ive never seen done.

Nyquist was in the game before 90% of you even knew how to talk. So don’t hate fact that he can do more tricks in one run than most of you will probably do in a lifetime. Plus most of the time he’s throwing down tricks that other riders have never even attempted. Ask any one he rides with or against, if he wins, it’s because he deserved it.
Seriously, bmx needs to be judged differently. Once you’ve surpassed a certain amount of tailwhips, points should be deducted. I mean, seriously, bmx contests might as well be called helicopter imitating contests. Its so shit that Bohan, doing the most original, cleanest, and best looking tricks, got beat by dudes doing nothing but chucking the back end of their bikes around in an arm and foot flailing fit. Ahhhh!
