Munich, Germany, July 21st 2009 – Two days left until BMX pros from allover the world go BIG IN BAVARIA. Overall 22 riders will battle for a 20.000 Euros prize fund on a line built out of 2.500 tons of dirt. The BIG IN BAVARIA sounds like a huge melting pot for superlatives in dirt jumping. The BMX finals of the BIG IN BAVARIA will be streamed live on www.soulbmx.tv on Saturday, July 25th, from 6:30 pm (CET). Soulbmx.tv is an old player in the scene and the Munich Tradeshow Center is proud to announce this webcast partner. So watch all the pros and their stunning runs live!
The ones that took the longest journey to Munich, the Columbian guys Alejandro Caro and Cristian Porras, have already arrived in sunny Bavaria and are waiting for their 20 buddies to arrive for one of the biggest dirt competitions that Europe ever announced. The guys will hit overall seven jumps on 180 meters (about 200 yards) distance: One big step down from the wooden starting tower, followed by four doubles – of whom the first and biggest one features an 11 meters (about 35 feet) gap to clear – followed by a dirt step up including a roller at its end to get again speed for the last super booter. The riders have to go crazy anyway to secure their personal part of an overall prize fund of 20,000 Euros. So watch out for the insane tricks they gonna perform!
