DC Opens Flagship Store On The Las Vegas Strip

March 20, 2009 – VISTA, CA— DC is proud to announce it has opened the doors of its newest flagship store in the heart of Las Vegas. With over 35 million visitors, from around the world, Las Vegas is the ideal location for consumers to be exposed to the DC.

“We’ve had great success with the brand in Las Vegas,” said Kelly Magrath, DC’s Vice President of Marketing. “It is a natural progression for DC to open a flagship store in a city that caters so well to consumers and the growing action sports industry.”

The DC Las Vegas store is located in the Miracle Mile Shops at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, and is the first flagship store to carry men’s products exclusively.  The store will carry apparel, footwear and accessories, as well as DC’s Skateboarding and LIFE Collections, which includes DC athlete signature models and DC Special Projects™. Later in the year the store will introduce a wide variety of men’s DC seasonal snow products, including outerwear and snowboarding boots and boards.

Remaining consistent to the design of the west coast flagship stores, the DC Las Vegas store embodies DC’s skateboarding and action sports lifestyle and heritage. An inverted vert ramp lines the ceiling as visitors enter the store. Displayed throughout the store are a variety of large format images featuring DC’s world-class team of athletes and iconic moments in the brand’s history. The DC Las Vegas store will be the location of different special events and athlete appearances throughout the year.

DC Las Vegas is located at 3663 Las Vegas Blvd South, # D4 in Las Vegas, NV. Since the opening of the first flagship store in New York’s popular Soho shopping district in the spring of 2006, DC has opened flagship stores in Park City, UT., Los Angeles, CA. and most recently in Irvine, CA.
