Morgan Wade Off Mutiny

Just got two e-mails: one from Gaz @ Mutiny, the other from Morgan himself. Pretty out of left field…

“I’ve been on the team and a part of Mutiny Bikes since 2001.  A lot of things have changed over the years, i.e., different owners and an entirely different team.  I honestly feel blessed to have been a part of it for so long.  Over the past year or so, Mutiny and myself have been drifting apart.  We aren’t on the same page that we used to be and we came to the conclusion that I just don’t fit into the Mutiny family like I used to.  Although we’re still great friends, we decided that it would be better for us to part ways rather than spin our wheels in different directions.  We had a good run of eight years and it’s been lots of fun!  That being said, I’d like to thank Mutiny for all support and help they’ve given me over the years.  I’m very grateful and truly do appreciate everything they’ve done for me.  Onward to the next chapter.

Morgan Wade”

From Gaz and Joe:

“Left and Leaving; Morgan Wade
Things change, it’s part of life. As Bob Dylan wrote once “The Times They Are A-Changin’” and as from today things have changed at Mutiny. Morgan and us have gone our separate ways. The strong friendship remains and we wish Morgan all the best. There is no drama, no hate, we have just reached that point where we are different places professionally. -Gaz & Joe-”

  • joe bloggs Says:

Morgan Wade was not only mutinys best rider but one of the best riders EVER, i think this is a wise choice though, morgan and mutiny just dont fit together anymore, the art direction, the products, and the teams attitudes / outlooks in general, neither parties are bad just different. anywayz hell find a frame sponser that fits (Terrible One, sunday, eastern, or even kink or macneil(miron is a prick though)) a company that isnt too scene kiddy, has stong parts and a legit team, i vote T1, he rides with those guys anyway, as far as i know, so Joe get on it lol, anywayz good luck to him

  • Hman Says:

  • bfromacrossthesea Says:

yeah i agree with this dude u stupid fucks, if their bikes really sucked ass, he wouldn’t have rode them for 8 years, and just because all of mutiny’s other riders don’t do as many flair and as big of airs as morgan wade does doesn’t mean they suck. too many idiots on here

  • sean Says:

    you are a complete gay.

  • cam Says:

sounds like it was mutual on both sides, why the hate?
mutiny’s parts aren’t any less because Morgan wade doesn’t ride them. and Morgan wades owns no matter who sponsors him.

  • Kid Says:

Right. Wade’s got more skill than most of us can dream of. But let’s not forget to recognize the other talent. I could watch guys like Roey and Randy Taylor flow all day.

  • Itamar Says:

what are u talkin about?!! Mutiny is one of the best companies out there, just because they are really underrated doesnt mean they suck…
