Your bike looks pretty stock, do you do any custom modifications to it?

It seem like I used to do a lot of modifications to my bike, but now I don’t really worry about it because all the Demolition/Volume stuff is so dialed.

Do you always keep your bike so dialed?

I try to keep it running smooth and looking somewhat decent. I can’t stand it when my bike is creaking up a storm or when my spokes are all lose and my bike is all mushy feeling. It makes me not want to ride it. Nothing is better than a dialed bike.

Describe your signature frame and bars.
You can’t really do too much to make bars different, so I just made them so they were comfortable for me. They have an 8″ rise and are 28″ wide and I love ’em. As for my frame, I had a few ideas in mind to try and make it stand out from the others. I wanted optional brakes on the top or bottom because everyone likes different things. Then I wanted to make the seat tube look like a silencer so it would stand out a little more. I think it worked out perfectly, I love how it looks and it only weighs 4 1/2 lbs.

How was the whole design process?
I already knew exactly what I wanted, so it made things pretty easy. I just told Brian [Castillo] what I wanted so he drew it up for me and we got it right within the first couple drawings. Everything worked out smoothly except for the name; I had some trouble with that, but we finally found the one that’s gonna stick.

When will they be available?
Everything is coming out in September and I can’t wait.
